Comandante C40 MK4 - The 2021 upgrade to the best hand mill on the market

Because the MK3 is already perfect, the upgrade potential for the MK4 remains correspondingly low. Comandante has nevertheless found a few adjustment screws for small improvements:

The grinder of the MK4 holds more beans than the MK3, and thanks to the changed geometry, the risk of jammed beans is almost eliminated, according to Comandante. Above all, the transparent glass was exchanged for a break-proof polymer vessel, which has heat-insulating properties and is also lighter and more break-resistant. The brown glass remains as usual, glass and polymer vessel are compatible with each other. A clear plus, especially for mobile coffee nerds who don't want to miss the Comandante on the go.

Of course, the usual features of the MK3 remain:

100% made in Germany. A double ball bearing grinder allows for easy cranking.
The grinding discs, produced using a patented manufacturing process, are sharpened again after hardening and cut the beans like no other hand mill.
This creates a uniquely homogeneous grinding result and dust formation is reduced to a minimum. The result of the Comandante is in no way inferior to high-quality professional electric mills.
Easy grinding level adjustment with a small, rotating wheel below the lower grinding disk.
A clearly perceptible clicking noise guides you through the respective grinding levels. With the Red Clix, which is available as an accessory, the already very precise grinding degree adjustment can be doubled.
