The BigStep is the non-plus-ultra among tampers and it is not for nothing that it has won countless titles in barista and latte art championships.

With a diameter of 58.55 mm and extremely low tolerances of +/- 0.02 mm, the Big-Step fits exactly into the precision sieves made specifically for the Pullman system and thus avoids any channeling from the outset. The result is an extremely even puck that is optimally compressed even at the edges of the screen.

Extremely high-quality 440C stainless steel for freedom from wear and the best material properties.

Patented 'Step' ensures that despite the extreme fit of the tamper base to the sieve, no vacuum is created when lifting after tamping.

Danger:
Pullman cannot control the wide range of different inside diameters across many brands and weight ratings of precision screens.
Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the BigStep is compatible with screens from third-party manufacturers.
We therefore strongly recommend purchasing Pullman Filtration Baskets. These are perfectly adapted to the BigStep base and checked by hand.

Pullman Barista Handle - Anodized - Silver Matte

Robust, classic, straight forward - the handle made of anodized aluminum.

The electrolytic oxidation of aluminum makes the material harder, more durable and more corrosion-resistant.

Anodized handles are also largely insensitive to impact damage because no color is applied during anodization, but rather the top layer of aluminum is converted into an oxide.

The resulting insensitivity to water and the low weight make the handle the perfect companion for the professional barista.
