This decaffeinated coffee is a great Caturra from the Villa Rica Biosphere Reserve in Peru, where our beloved La Aurora comes from. This coffee is prepared in a classic fully washed manner, has a beautiful bean appearance that is unusual for a decaf and is the best example of the fact that a gently prepared decaf does not need to hide behind 'normal' coffees with caffeine in terms of quality. This Peruvian is definitely suitable for all types of preparation: as an espresso it develops floral-fruity notes, here the vanilla and especially the ripe avocado come into their own. Mild and velvety in a cappuccino, it doesn't get lost and develops a harmonious aroma. When filtered, the Puerto Bermudez unfolds its aroma not only in the cup, but throughout the room: the almond comes to the fore in a harmonious and balanced way and is complemented by the vanilla and avocado.
